About the Site:
The Brighton Alive website aims to provide information about events, programmes, and news from all over Brighton, Tasmania.
The Menu:
Hovering over the 'Menu' button will cause the site menu to appear. Clicking on the name of one of the sections will direct you to that section. If the menu does not work, you may not have javascript enabled. Links at the bottom of the page provide an alternate way to navigate the site.
Events + Programmes Calender:
The calender is present on the left of the screen in all sections of this site. It lists all events are programmes that are running in the currently selected month. Clicking on an event will then display more information about it.
To view another month, click the << and >> buttons to move back or forward. Events that are coloured red have recently been added to the site or updated.
Events and programmes are classified under a number of different types. To only display one type, select it and click 'Filter'.
The links at the bottom of the calender provide printable versions of the events and programme lists, and also provide the ability to add new events or programmes to the calender.
Home:
The initial page you will see, the home page provides a portal to the rest of the content on the site, listing the most recent updates to the site, any events coming up soon, as well as photos and an event spotlight.

Add an Event:
If you are organising an event or program in the Brighton Area, and want it to be listed on this site, just use the Add Event form. Events that are submitted are processed and added to the site on a regular basis.

Email Updates:
Signing up for e-mail updates means that you will regularly recieve e-mails, letting you know what new events have been added to the site, and which events are coming up soon.
